The house is be strategically positioned to maximize panoramic views of the ocean, creating a surreal experience where visitors feel like they are looking at the sea from an upside down perspective."

"The house has been designed to mimic the traditional Upside Down House concept, with the roof on the ground and the foundations in the air. Inside, furniture, fixtures, and decor would be arranged upside down to maintain the illusion. The exterior might feature elements that blend into the coastal landscape, perhaps using materials and colors that complement the natural surroundings."

"In summary, The Upside Down House Melville, Port Shepstone, is a captivating addition to the area's attractions, blending art, architecture, and natural beauty in a memorable and thought-provoking manner."

Visitors tend to spend an hour to 2 hours in and around the house, taking all kinds of amazing photos (its amazing to see the creativity that flows). Bearing in mind, the house is also built on an angle, thus it contributes immensely to the illusion and experience one has when entering the house. We don’t have timeslots for the house viewing, nor do we have a limit to the amount of times each person goes in (usually only by the second or third time around, the ideas for creative photos start to flow)
